About Us

My first interest in aviculture dates back to when I was a young teenager. I had a variety of birds, including a hand raised Rainbow Lorikeet. Over the last 25 years I have kept and bred a variety of parrots and lorikeets, including Sun Conures, Janday Conures, Nanday Conures, Black Cockatoos, Gang Gangs, Major Mitchells, Long and Short Billed Corellas, Galahs, White Cockatoos, Neopheomas, Eclectus, Alexanderines, Ringnecks, Quakers, Plumheads, Princess Parrots, Grass Parrots, Chattering Lories and Rainbow Lorikeets, just to name a few!

I started collecting Rainbow Lorikeets unintentionally. When I went to buy a pair of Lutino Ringnecks Parrots from a man who would only sell the ringnecks to me if I also bought at least one pair of his rainbows who were breeding well. I finally agreed and decided to buy a pair of Rainbow Lorikeets. I selected a pair in which the hen was a different colour to all the others. This started my interest in Lorikeet Mutations.

Thereafter my collection grew rapidly, (much to my wife’s dismay)! As you can see from our photo gallery, over the last number of years, we now have most of the mutations available and are working on a few more exciting ones! We shall keep you posted!

Keep visiting our site as we shall be updating with a lot more photos and information.
